With over a decade of combined experience in corrections and technology, I bring a unique, real-world understanding of physical and digital security. My career began with 5+ years in the correctional system, where I developed a disciplined, risk-focused mindset that now complements my technical expertise in the cybersecurity space. As a self-taught network engineer and defensive security specialist, I earned both my CCNA and CCNP SCOR, and have spent the last 5 years designing, managing, and securing enterprise infrastructure. My journey reflects resilience, focus, and a passion for protecting critical systems. Today, I serve as the Founder & CEO of DefNet, an all-in-one Security & Risk Management firm that integrates cybersecurity, physical security, and smart automation to safeguard businesses, HOAs, and communities. I built DefNet to solve the modern security gap—bridging digital threats, physical vulnerabilities, and unreliable infrastructure with a unified solution. As the youngest of seven siblings, I’ve always thrived in competitive environments. I enjoy basketball, strength training, and pushing myself mentally and physically to stay sharp as both a leader and lifelong learner.
